For your team
What your operations, compliance and IT colleagues will want to know before you bring Mapshock in.
How access works
- Mapshock is set up for organizations, not individuals. Access is by invitation.
- Tell us what your team researches and we will set up an account for your organization. Owners and admins add colleagues and set their roles.
- Sign in with a password or a passkey.
Who can see your work
- Your organization’s work is visible only inside your organization.
- Analyses are private by default. A private analysis never reaches a colleague unless you share it: not its text, its title, or the fact that it exists.
- Documents you upload start private.
- Owners and admins can see an activity log of what happens in your organization’s account.
What happens to your data
- Your questions, analyses and the record your firm builds belong to your organization.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train AI models.
- The list of holdings and sites you enter is not sent to the AI. It is used to show your exposure on a map and to flag answers and events that name those countries.
- Export analyses to PDF, Word, PowerPoint or Markdown whenever you need them.
Who else handles it
Mapshock uses service providers for hosting, the database, email, bot protection, AI analysis, web search, document processing and website analytics. Each is listed, with what it does, in our Privacy Policy. Security practices are described on our Security page.
What Mapshock is, and is not
- Mapshock produces research and analysis. It does not give investment, legal or other professional advice. Decisions stay with your team.
- Each analysis shows its sources and how reliable they are, so your team can check the work before relying on it.
